PRICING

Configuring Your Pricing

How KTIZO's quote engine works and how to tune every knob for profitable, consistent quotes.

KTIZO prices every job from your shop settings, so quotes are consistent and profitable by construction. Here's what each setting does.

The pricing knobs

  • Material cost / kg — what you pay for filament or resin.
  • Machine rate / hour — covers power, depreciation, and maintenance.
  • Minimum order price — the floor for any order, so small jobs still pay.
  • Rush multiplier — applied to expedited orders.
  • Material & finish multipliers — bump price for premium materials (e.g. PETG ×1.2) or finishes (e.g. silk ×1.2).

How a quote is calculated

For each uploaded model we measure its volume and bounding box, then:

  1. Estimate grams from volume, density, and your infill.
  2. Material cost = grams × (cost/kg × multipliers).
  3. Machine cost = estimated hours × machine rate.
  4. Add the setup fee, apply your markup, and enforce the minimum order price.

Per-printer and per-filament overrides

If an order item is assigned to a specific printer, that printer's cost/hour overrides the shop default. Filaments can carry their own price multiplier too.

Sales tax and business info

Under Settings → Business & Tax, add your legal business name and address (used on receipts) and choose a tax mode — a flat rate or Stripe Tax. You're responsible for your own tax obligations; KTIZO doesn't provide tax advice.
