1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and role.
- Shop data: business details, pricing, printers, inventory (for Shop owners).
- Order data: orders, messages, addresses, and payment status.
- Uploaded files: the 3D models you upload for quoting and printing.
- Usage & device data: log data, IP address, and basic analytics events.
- Acquisition data: if you arrive via a marketing link, the campaign parameters in that link (e.g.
utm_source) are stored with your account at signup so we know which campaigns work. Declining analytics in the cookie banner also disables this.
2. How we use data
- To provide the service — quoting, orders, payments, fulfillment, and support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the platform and prevent abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account, orders, and (with your settings) notifications.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party processors
We share data with service providers strictly to run the platform:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- PostHog — product analytics (usage events).
- Sentry — error monitoring (diagnostic data, scrubbed of secrets).
- Email & storage providers — transactional email and file/object storage.
- Shops — the Shop you order from receives the order details and files needed to fulfill it.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and analytics. Analytics is used to understand product usage; you can opt out of analytics, and where required we ask for consent via a cookie notice. See “Your rights” below.
5. Data retention
We keep data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g. tax/accounting records) or for backups.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA-style)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. You can also opt out of analytics from within the app.
8. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
